Regulation round-up: Sep 2016

· FCA round-up,Vulnerable customers,Andrew Bailey

In the September issue of the FCA’s roundup, Andrew Bailey highlights his ambition to conduct a regional listening exercise in the coming months as he steps into the role of CEO.

In particular the new CEO is looking to:

“hear directly from some of you about your experience of being regulated by the FCA and the impact regulation has on your business”

The paper also puts the spotlight on the accessibility of financial services for older consumers, and the FCA’s review into mortgage lenders’ strategies for protecting vulnerable customers against interest rate rises.

We’re also reminded that the FCA’s Financial Crime Conference is fast-approaching - this takes place in London on Thursday 10 November.
